At parqueinfantil.pt, we work exclusively with recognized manufacturers and certified products, ensuring transparency, quality, and trust in all purchases for our customers.

Legal Guarantee

In accordance with current legislation, all products sold at parqueinfantil.pt benefit from a 3-year legal guarantee.

After the first 6 months, should any defect be detected, it may be necessary to prove through a technician or specialist that it is a manufacturing defect and not normal wear and tear or improper use.

The legal guarantee does not cover damages resulting from:

  • Incorrect installation or assembly
  • Accidents or impacts
  • Improper or abusive use
  • Lack of maintenance
  • Commercial use of products intended for domestic use
  • Natural wear and tear caused by use and weather conditions

Even if your product is no longer within the warranty period, we recommend contacting us. Whenever possible, we will mediate with the manufacturer for parts replacement. Over the years, it is normal for certain components to wear out or get damaged — this is part of the normal use of equipment.

Our commitment is to always try to find a solution for your case.

Commercial Guarantee (from the manufacturer)

In addition to the legal guarantee, each manufacturer offers an additional commercial guarantee, which may vary depending on:

  • The type of product
  • The material
  • The use (private or public)
  • The specific component of the equipment

The commercial guarantee always complements the legal guarantee. For detailed information about your specific product, you can consult the manufacturer's data sheet or contact us directly.

Guarantee for playgrounds and wooden swings (private use)

The manufacturers we work with offer, for domestic use equipment:

  • 10-year guarantee against rot and pests in treated wooden structures

It is important to note that:

  • Wood is a natural material and may show cracks over time
  • These cracks are normal and do not compromise the equipment's safety
  • They do not constitute a manufacturing defect

Guarantee for playgrounds and public use equipment

For equipment intended for public spaces (schools, kindergartens, urban parks, condominiums), the guarantee is defined by components, according to the materials used:

Manufacturers use high-quality materials, such as:

  • Autoclave-treated laminated wood (Class IV)
  • Galvanized steel, stainless steel, and lacquered steel
  • HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) panels with UV protection

Which allows for the following guarantees:

  • 10-year guarantee for structural wood against fungal rot and xylophagous insects
  • 5-year guarantee for structural steel elements and HDPE panels
  • 2-year guarantee for movable components and other materials

Manufacturers also commit to maintaining the availability of replacement parts for a minimum period of 10 years.

Guarantee Exclusions

The guarantee does not cover:

  • Vandalism
  • Abnormal use of the equipment
  • Incorrect installation
  • Lack of maintenance
  • Damage caused by third parties
  • Decorative coatings subject to natural wear and tear
  • Normal wear and tear due to time and use

In the event of a proven manufacturing defect, the guarantee provides for the free replacement of affected parts.

parqueinfantil.pt acts as an intermediary between the customer and the manufacturer, providing support throughout the warranty analysis process and parts replacement where applicable.
